I’m Claire, a Yorkshire-born but London-based photographer. I live in South West London with my boyfriend and enjoy travelling as & when I can. My job keeps me busy, with weddings playing a big part of that, alongside working as a commercial photographer for many of the UK (and world’s) leading brands for over six years.

My love of photography grew from a personal interest and has continued to grow ever since I made the leap into a full-time freelancing professional back in 2016. Prior to that, I worked in PR and before that, I studied Law at university. Quite the diverse mix I’m sure you’ll agree but each has taught me many valuable skills which I’ve made good use since being self-employed!

My wedding photography style is very much one where I capture natural, authentic moments. I want my images to tell the story of the day; and tell real stories rather than staged ones. I aim to make you feel at ease and comfortable whilst I photograph you (as not everyone enjoys a lens on them - me included!). And when it comes to direction - I let you tell me what you’re comfortable with and if you want to pose, great! If you don’t, then that’s equally fine.

I love being a photographer and I love the variety that my job brings. I feel very grateful to do something I genuinely love and it is truly an honour whenever I receive an email from a couple enquiring about me capturing their special day. It is such a privilege.
